How doulas register.

There are currently no governing bodies or councils that doulas must register with to be able to practice as certified doulas.

DOSA (Doulas of South Africa) is an organization doulas can apply for membership. 
​
DOSA "registered" doulas will be able to claim from medical aids and gain easier hospital access. 
​
Signature doulas automatically meet the requirements to apply for a DOSA membership.
