Hi, my name is Estuné Maritz, and I am what you would describe as an expert doula.

My doula career began when I was a young girl. When I was growing up, my mother acted as both a midwife and lecturer, seeing that I was homeschooled at the time.

I was ten years old when I first witnessed the miracle of life. I grew up in the birth room. The doorways of knowledge and opportunity were open for me at a very young age.
​
I officially received certification as a doula and started my own business in 2016 called "BabyBlizz," growing and becoming more educated as a birth companion each day.
​
Since my first birth encounter, I have assisted more than 1 400 laboring women and families from conception to first birthday parties, as well as counseling in pregnancy and birth-related losses.
​
Witnessing babies, as well as mothers being born in different birthing environments, have truly made me understand the meaning of holding space.
​
It is my duty as an educator to transfer the knowledge I have acquired in 11 years to help others grow.

Making a difference in life is my soul purpose and desire.
​
The reason why I created Signature doula is to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity; to become a Doula.
